Kele is available as a consultant for nonprofits and companies interested in implementing culturally competent food services or products for diverse communities. She takes a tailored approach to customizing innovative strategies that raise awareness and deepen engagement among key constituents and consumers.

Additionally, Kele is available for speaking engagements at conferences, schools, and more. She leads curriculum based on the themes of food justice and local urban agriculture — highlighting the discrepancies and developments in the food policy landscapes best practices, and opportunities to address food insecurity and health disparities in the U.S. and globally.

Building off her success as a mobile food vendor with Brooklyn Born, managing operations for its food truck and coordinating business expansion with the launch of its Green Cart, Kele hosts workshops on how to become a street vendor and food entrepreneur. As a member of the Street Vendor Project’s Leadership Board, she works closely with City Council to advocate for street vendors and hosts trainings for individuals interested in a path to street vending.

Community Chef

Kele is available to host hands-on cooking demos at your business, community center and more. Teach your employees or community members how to easily incorporate colorful vegetables into traditional and tasty dishes.

Her classroom is as much the conference room as it is the community. Through educational tours and workshops on community farms for local schools, nonprofit organizations, and community groups of all ages, Kele promotes affordable access to healthy foods and demonstrates fun, relatable facts and cooking techniques that tap into cultural tradition.

Nutrition Coach

Kele is available for one-on-one coaching of groups or individuals of all ages, social backgrounds and fitness levels interested in a customized approach to a healthier lifestyle. She works collaboratively with clients to first unpack their history and relationship with food, including their current eating habits and wellness goals. Kele then develops a meal plan and educates the client on proper nutrition and choosing foods that help treat and prevent certain diseases and conditions the client may have. Each plan is customized with the client’s budget, dietary preferences, and lifestyle in mind.
